Thorny Devil
The Thorny Devil can grow up to 20 cm. They change colors to be camouflaged so they can hide from predators. They lay 3 to 10 eggs underground between January and September. The eggs hatch 3 to 4 months later. They hide in small shrubs and when they are scared they put there head in between their front legs. They are a reptile. The Thorny Devil lives in Western Australia, and North and South Queensland.
Javelina
The Javelina is the only wild pig in North America. It looks exactly like a real pig but it is bigger. It lives in the canyon area in the desert.It has 3 toes on each foot. The upper tusks are 1.5 inches long. They eat cacti, grass, bulbs, berries, flowers, mushrooms, and fruit , which is easy for them to find in their habitat.
Banded Gila Monster
This is the Banded Gila Monster. They get up to 2ft. long and weigh up to 3 lb. The females lay 3 to 15 eggs in a hole. Then in 28 to 30 days they hatch. They finally get adult size at 1 to 3 years. They live in Southwestern North America.
